Today was a momentous day, the 50th birthday of my lovely wife Lynn. It was great to have Han and Dan (son-in-law) with us for the week, and they shared the celebrations. The church arranged a 'surprise' party for her after the morning service, but she is too clever to be taken by surprise! When I told her that we had made arrangements for Sunday lunch, Lynn said 'So we are having lunch at church then are we'. There are no flies on her! It was great to welcome some friends from Dartmouth to the party. We then came home and had a family birthday tea - we are now all birthdayed out!

Happy birthday little Sis, you are looking good, that Sailor has obviously been taking care of you. Take it form a veteran of 2 years, life just gets better after 50!
