Visit to Deo Volente

Lynn and I had a real blessing today when we motored up river in Jireh, our Drascombe Lugger to visit some friends on board their Yacht 'Deo Volente'. Ian Crossley and I have been in email contact for about a year, praying for his son Nathan, who is currently under training in the Royal Marines Band Service. Having served for 33 years in the Band I can give a certain empathy as to what a young Christian man is going through in the Royal Marines. Ian is a keen sailor and was cruising with his friends Paul and Helen on board their beautiful Camper and Nicholson yacht. Having sailed in to the River Dart yesterday they invited us on board for a coffee and chat. It was a real blessing to be able to share fellowship and to share how God is working in each of our lives. Paul and Helen have similar experiences to Lynn and I on sailing matters and it was a privilege to be able to share some of these.

Hi Phil. This is Cindy, Ian's wife. I'm so glad you have finally been able to meet and glad too that you had the chance to have time with Paul and Helen. I trust that we too will be able to meet sometime in the near future. Thank you so much for your prayers for Nathan. It really is appreciated. God bless.
