Oke Tor Walk

A perfect day for walking and only five friends got together to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful views around the north moors of Dartmoor.

We parked on the military road near Row Tor and walked south until we had Oke Tor to our left.

As we ascended to the tor we encounter first some very smart Rover Scouts, and then a heard of belted Galloway cows.

My wife thought she would test the depth of the mire next to the track (an accident) and ended up with boots full of bog water!

Lulu the 15 year old dog was well behaved and didn't even beg for our sandwiches at lunch time.

A glorious day enjoying the beauty of creation.
